Young & SoberLewis County A.A.Call us

Whether you’re 16, 26, or young at heart

Too young? So were we.

Many of us got sober in our teens and twenties, before drinking cost us more. You don’t have to hit rock bottom first. You don’t have to give up fun or friends. And you only have to stay sober today.

Common worries

Tap one to see what young members say.

Age doesn’t decide it. Members who got sober at 16 or 22 found they had the same problem as everyone else in the room, and the same way out.

Drinking problems usually get worse over time. Getting sober early means you get to keep more of your life.

Ask young members. Most will tell you they have more fun now, without the hangovers, the drama, or the regret.

Some old friendships change. Many young members say they found real friends in A.A., people who get it.

Nobody in A.A. promises forever. We stay sober one day at a time, starting with today.

No one is in charge of you. Members share what worked for them, and you decide what to try.
